Day 2 - The crossing and off to Paremata Domain

Day two saw the group arise early and a fast departure to the Picton Bluebridge Ferry Terminal. All were loaded by 8am ready for at early crossing. The weather was fine but foggy. Upon arriving in Wellington we drove to Paremata Domain for lunch. It is a lovely site so we decided to stay for the night.

The site overlooks Mana Harbour and boats were coming and going all day. These were mainly people going fishing. The boat marina was worth the walk to see the boats. The domain is close to the railway station which would make going into Wellington city easy.
