Day 40 - Thames Golf Club

Day forty was a lazy day. We decided to do things around Thames before moving on. We left the golf club and went into town to fill the fridge and to 'do' the street market. Little was purchased but it was enjoyable. We then went to Kuranui Bay for lunch. After lunch the ladies went to the butterfly and orchids house while the guys went to the gold mine. The guys decided that paying money to see rusty iron was not worth it so they returned to the vans and put the world to rights. The girls enjoyed the butterflies but not the cost.

We were joined by an Auckland couple for happy hour and about four million flies.
